ATORADOS

3D local multiplayer, co-op, stealth game whose core game mechanic is camouflage. Players need to solve puzzles in which light is the enemy.

They need to avoid being spotted by the light and caught by the security guards; to do so, players need to interact with the environment to cast shadows by moving objects to block the light source.

Platform: PC and Console

Engine: Unity

Storyline:

The most important art exhibition of the year is coming to town and it is bringing one of the most valuable paintings ever known.

Kelvin and Kiara were tasked with delivering the most valuable work of art to the local museum, but they delivered the wrong one.

The players’ mission is to break into the museum and swap the paintings without getting caught by the guards.

Gameplay Overview:

Players must dodge lights and proceed through the shadows cast by static and moving objects. In order to overcome these kinds of obstacles, timing and spacing are important factors to consider.

Players can interact with large objects by pushing or pulling them to block the light and cast shadows that players use to move through. Moving and bumping objects trigger noise, which can alert any guard within range.

Every time players are spotted by a ray of light; the guard gauge starts filling up; when full, the guards show up at the player's exact location and chase them for the duration of the cooldown. If any of the players get caught, both go back to the previous checkpoint, and the guards return to their patrolling state.

At the end of each level, players need to swap the security tape at the security desk to secure the checkpoint.
